Just a little selection of photos from the 10th Annual Orrell Archers Portsmouth Shoot held in Wigan on January 25th 2009. Members present were Peter Mumford, Joy Gough, Adrian Bruce, Sarah Rigby, Tony Hartley, Dave Berry, Jon and Anne Rutland, Rusty Kneale-Barrow, Thomas Bott, Chris Holmes and Team George (Allan, Charlotte, Aalin and Kirsten).

A second Robin Hood at the club. This time by junior archer Willoughby Whittle, shooting BAREBOW! And as you can see, he is very happy about it.

Photos from the Personal Improvement Weekend when the club was visited by Clive Jeacock and Tony Drabble from Custom Built Archery. A great time was had by all but there were a lot of achey archers at the end of the day. If anyone has anymore, email them to me.

Photos of Sarah Rigby with Professional Archer Lucy Holderness (top) and Charlotte George with Olympic Archer Naomi Folkard (bottom) after going head to head against them. This took place at the National Indoor Championships at Lilleshall on 16 - 17th February 2008.

Charlotte put in a score of 104 against Naomi's 117 at head to head leaving Charlotte in 32nd place overall, however, Sarah had her day, and finished with a score of 115 matching Lucy. Only being beaten by Lucy in a one arrow shoot off, and placing Sarah in a well deserved 9th place.

Dave Berry had a wonderful achievement on Club Night (7th Feb 2008) when he shot a Robin Hood with a bow he has only had for 3 weeks.
