The Isle of Man Archery qualifying standard for the Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010

1. Must have shot at least three Master Bowman level scores, at least one of those scores must have been gained at a Record Status event and at least one score must be in the six months prior to entry.

2. Must compete in at least one Record Status 720 round and associated Head to Head elimination round.

A Master Bowman is one who shoots to a standard set by the Grand National Archery society, the governing body for archery in the UK and to which the Isle of Man Archery Club is affiliated.

Current levels are:-

Recurve Women Fita Round 1169
Recurve Women Hereford Round 1091
Recurve Men Fita Round 1190
Recurve Men York Round 1065
Compound Women Fita Round 1298
Compound Women Hereford Round 1220
Compound Men Fita Round 1311
Compound Men York Round 1206

The reason for setting the above standards are to illustrate that an archer is able to shoot to a consistently high standard.
